Cross-feature procedural & AI-assisted creation for music, audio, voice, dialogue, and FX mixing. Practical manual control with a 100% local-first privacy a
NeuralBeat Studio is on Steam in Early Access at $29.99, currently 20% off. It is not a game — it is an audio production tool aimed at the people who make them, and it runs entirely on your own machine.

Local-first, and that is the pitch
Generation happens on your own GPU rather than a server. Developer Isolated Frame is direct about why that matters: no queues, no downtime, and no question of your assets being fed into somebody else’s training set. It works offline entirely.
A DAW bolted to a generator
The part that separates it from a prompt box is the Creative Suite — step sequencer, piano roll, mixing and per-track processing. The intended workflow is to sketch with AI and then finish by hand. It loads SF2 and SF3 SoundFont banks for acoustic and orchestral tones, imports MIDI, and has a hum-to-MIDI mode for capturing an idea without a keyboard.
Built for shipping, not demos
Exports are the giveaway that this is aimed at developers: WAV for audio, and dialogue in JSON, CSV, gettext .po, Yarn, Ink and Lua. Those are engine and localisation formats, not things a hobbyist needs.
Early Access, with a stated end date
It launched into Early Access at version 2.3, which Isolated Frame describe as stable and usable. Full release is planned for 17 December 2026 at version 2.4, and they have said the price rises then — the current figure is an early-adopter rate rather than the eventual one.
Thirty dollars
$29.99 standard, discounted at the time of writing. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit, and around 3 GB of disk space. A demo is available if you want to try the workflow before committing.

Local-first is a real position, not a slogan
Most AI audio tools run in the cloud, which means queues, subscriptions, and your work passing through somebody else’s servers. Running on your own GPU removes all three, at the cost of needing hardware good enough to do the work.
For a studio shipping a commercial game, the ownership question matters more than the convenience. Knowing your assets were not processed by a service whose terms may change is worth something.
The export list tells you who it is for
WAV for audio is expected. Yarn, Ink and Lua are not — those are dialogue and scripting formats used inside game engines, and gettext .po is a localisation standard.
A tool that exports to those is aimed at people shipping games, not at someone making a track for fun. That focus is the most useful thing on the store page.
