Moho-Moho DX Officially Out on Steam

Moho-Moho DX released on Steam on 18 August 2026 from Factory Digital Entertainment. It is a deluxe expansion of the free game Moho-Moho, and the developer claims over 100 hours of gameplay — a lot for a colour-block puzzler at under six dollars.

Recreate the picture, block by block

The rules are simple to state. A completed image sits in the upper right of the screen, and you place colour blocks onto the canvas to recreate it exactly.

Once a stage starts, 48 blocks line up in the palette at the lower right and slowly descend. The tension comes from that descent — you are matching a reference image while the supply moves on without you.

Six times the stages, plus a custom slot system

Against the free original, the DX version adds over six times more main stages, a 99-slot custom stage feature, enhanced auto-generation, time attack modes and a number of new background tracks.

The 99 custom slots plus auto-generation are what back the 100-hour claim — this is a puzzler designed to keep producing content after the authored stages run out, rather than a fixed campaign.

Every control scheme covered

The accessibility list is genuinely comprehensive. Moho-Moho DX includes a Keyboard Only Option, a Mouse Only Option, a Touch Only Option and Playable without Timed Input.

All three input methods supported independently, with no reaction-speed requirement, is more thorough than most puzzle games manage. Family Sharing is enabled.

Worth noting what is absent: no Steam Achievements and no Cloud saves are listed.

Windows only, three languages

The build is Windows only. Language support covers English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese.

The single Steam genre tag is Casual, which fits — this is a low-pressure puzzler rather than a test of skill.

Version 1.1 adds Moho-ROBO and Endless Mode

Factory Digital Entertainment shipped Version 1.1 on 29 August 2026, and it changes what the game is for. The store page now lists automatic Moho-ROBO play and an Endless Mode alongside the original features.

Robo Mode places blocks for you at one of three speed settings, and can be toggled on or off mid-game. The practical effect is that a deliberate puzzle game can now be left running — the developer’s own framing is that it becomes an idle game.

Two details matter if you care about scores. Trophies still unlock on Robo-cleared stages provided the stage finishes with zero mistakes, and Robo clears are logged at 59:59 so they cannot pollute your own time-attack records. That is a thoughtful separation rather than a blanket unlock.

The store description has also been revised upward: it now claims over 100 hours of gameplay, where the original listing said 99. A dedicated Ver.1.1 trailer sits on the store page alongside the launch trailer.

Now $6.99, launch discount ended

Moho-Moho DX is on Steam at $6.99, with no discount, verified on 6 September 2026.

One correction: this is not an upcoming title. It released on 18 August and is available now.

The sensible route in is the original — Moho-Moho is free, so you can test whether the core loop holds you before paying for the expanded version. If it does, six dollars for six times the stages plus custom slots is straightforward value.
