Ling House: Echoes Within is a first-person psychological horror experience. Uncover the hidden tragedy beneath the surface of a haunted house. As reality break
Ling House: Echoes Within released on Steam on 25 August 2026 from Chaotic System. It is a first-person horror game where the house itself is the antagonist — and the developers are explicit that this is no static haunting.
The house responds to you
You wake trapped in a new home with your memories in chaos. The environment responds to your presence, and Chaotic System describe the house as a living entity rather than a haunted backdrop.
You witness time and space warp in front of you. What first read as supernatural hallucination becomes increasingly real as fragmented memories intertwine and point toward the truth.

Memory as the puzzle
Tying the horror to fragmented memory rather than to a pursuing monster gives the design a different shape. The tension comes from unreliable perception — you are working out what actually happened, not just escaping something.
That structure suits a single-location game, where the same rooms can be re-read as your understanding shifts.
Better equipped than most indie horror
The listing includes Steam Achievements, full controller support, Camera Comfort settings, custom volume controls and stereo sound.
Camera comfort options matter genuinely in first-person horror, where motion discomfort is common. Shipping them at launch is thoughtful rather than box-ticking.

Four languages, and a demo
Localisation covers English, Simplified Chinese, French and Italian. The build is Windows only. Nine store screenshots.
A free demo is listed separately — the sensible way to test whether the atmosphere works for you before paying, since environmental horror lives or dies on how it feels to walk through.

Four twenty-four at launch
Ling House: Echoes Within is on Steam at $4.99. The launch discount has ended and this is the standard price, verified on 6 September 2026.
One correction: this is not an upcoming title. It released on 25 August and is available now.
Four dollars for atmospheric first-person horror with proper controller support and comfort options is good value, and the demo removes the risk entirely. If you prefer psychological horror over jump scares, the living-house premise is the reason to look.
